Connect and Follow Your Friends
Adding friends using a QR code
> Generate Your QR Code
> Take a screenshot of your QR code
> Email or share with your friend, who can scan it from their million steps app
1. How to Generate Your QR Code
Firstly, go to the friend's icon at the bottom of your main dashboard
> Click on the [scanner] icon in the top right-hand corner
> A QR code will be generated
> Get your friend to scan it with their Million Steps App (see below on how to)
> You will now be connected
2. How To Scan a QR Code
> Go to your "friends" icon at the bottom of your main dashboard
> Click on the "+" icon on the top right-hand corner
> Click on the [scanner] icon in the top right-hand corner
> The scanner will activate
> Scan your friend's QR code
You will now be connected
NOTE: Always remember to follow these steps
1. Both you and your friend should REFRESH THE FRIENDS SECTION of the app AFTER an invite has been sent.
2. You can refresh the page by a "pull-down" action on the screen
3. The friend who has been invited will see a friend request AND MUST ACCEPT it. This prevents SPAM or unwanted invites
